EMPTIES June 2016!

Hi!
Just going to write a short post with mini reviews on my empties this month!
Enjoy!

Mango Body Butter by The Body Shop:
I love these body butters by the body shop!
And, I have loads of different lotions, so I wanted to use it up.

Would I repurchase it?
Yes, but I want to use up my other body butters first.

www.thebodyshop.co.uk/mango-body-butter

ZTIZ Nail Polish:
I got this ages ago, and it has dried out. As you can see, the nail polish is a glittery magenta silver, but when you apply it on the nail, you don't get a lot of glitter on your nail.

Would I repurchase it?
Nope.

Can't find a link.

Raspberry Coconut Pecks by Inspiral:
I LOVE these!
It's kind of like chunks of coconut that are very crunchy, and there is also raspberry jam on them.
They are so good! And they are organic, gluten-free, raw, vegan and paleo.

Would I repurchase it?
Yesss!

Using Coconut Oil As A Hair Mask- My Experience

I decided to use coconut oil as a hair mask, because I was curious how well it would work and how moisturising it would be; and this is what happened.
(I didn't really read up about this, maybe I should have...)

I used extra virgin coconut oil, soaked my hair in it (tried to only put it in the lengths of my hair, but I kind of got it nearly in all of my hair except for my roots...), and then left it in way too long (20-30 min), but really I should have left it in for about 5 minutes!
So it didn't really work out how I wanted it to...

After rinsing it out:
My hair feels so wet, and it has felt like this for a while now.
I didn't wash my hair with conditioner, because I felt like I didn't really need to.
I am going to wait until tomorrow, see if it feels oily then, and decide if I should wash my hair again then.
Good night!

Day 1:
10:00 AM:
I just got out of the shower, and I washed my hair twice with conditioner, because it felt like it helped. We will see when my hair has dried.
When I woke up my hair looked wet, because it was so oily!
I was not impressed...
Fingers crossed washing my hair again worked!
11:30 AM:
I just rinsed my hair of with water, because it was still oily, but I did help a bit to wash my hair again. But it still is and looks oily. This "coconut oil hair mask" was probably not such a good idea...
1:00 PM:
The hair on the top of my head, near my roots, as well as the ends are not oily at all any more. It's just the lengths of my hair.
My hair still looks wet and feels wet too:(
(It's not how I want MY hair to look like).
4:00 PM:
I just took I shower because I was out exercising. I didn't wash my hair again, I just rinsed it with water. I also noticed that it's just the "middle" of my hair that is oily.
19:30 PM:
My hair doesn't look that wet any more... but it does feel damp.
On the positive side it's shiny, right now I think it will take a few more days/ washes until my hair will be completely coconut oil free :(
Day 2:
10:30 AM:
My hair has "dried" a bit overnight, but it is still oily here and there.
Otherwise, my hair feels just a little bit softer than usual.
I will update you tomorrow!
Day 3:
I can't see or feel any coconut oil in my hair anymore!
To be honest, I can't really tell a difference after using the coconut oil in my hair.
But, it was probably good for my hair anyway.
If I would do this again, I would just put coconut oil in the ends of my hair, but if I get any tips on what I could do better when using coconut oil as a hair mask, then maybe I would it again.

Some tips and tricks (from what I experienced):
* Try to only get the coconut oil in the ends and maybe a bit in the lengths of the hair.
*Don't leave it in for long!

I know this post is basically me complaining over my oily coconut hair, but I hope somebody reading this will find this interesting, educational and maybe even would want to try this for themselves.
Also, if anyone reading this has tried this, please comment some tips and your experience, and if I did something wrong (except for probably leaving it in for too long)!

PINITA COLADA by The Body Shop

The Body Shop recently introduced their new summer collection- Pinita Colada, so I hurried over to my local TBS store and I picked up 1 product from the range:

I brought the shower gel, but I wouldn't call it a shower gel at all! It's more like a shower cream.
At first I was kind of disappointed of the actual scent of it, I thought it smelled quite "soapy", and I couldn't really smell that much of pineapple and coconut.
But then when I used it in the shower with a loofa, and smelling it over and over again, it smells much nicer in my opinion.
So it is not as strong as their strawberry or pink grapefruit shower gel, but I really like it anyway!

May Glossybox 2016 "Wing It"!

Hi!
This month's glossybox is called "Wing It", and they mean just doing something and giving it a chance, especially now in the summer.
Also, "Wing It" can still be related to beauty, and that's what glossybox is all about.
The concept of this box, is probably one of my favourite ones, but the actual products in the box, kind of disappointed me.

Full size!
Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner:
What glossybox says about it:
Define, shape and frame your face with this brow fixer from Studio 10! The creamy double-ended pen has on one side a universal shade and on the other side a light reflecting highlighter that gives your brows a lift.
What I think:
I like that this brand helps support a good cause, which is always a thumbs up!
Also fun to get a makeup product, I feel like it's been a lot of skincare in my recent boxes.

260 kr/ 21 £/ 31 $     You can get it here: studio10beauty.com/products/brow-lift

Glam of Sweden False Eyelashes:
What Glossybox says about it:
Give your lashes a real wow effect with false eyelashes from Glam of Sweden! Measure the fray toward where the eye and cut if necessary the outer edge. Apply glue to the edge, wait 30 seconds and secured as close to your lashes as possible.
What I think:
Different to get lashes in a beauty box!
Don't really have anything more to say about these yet.

39 kr/ 3 £/ 4.50 $  You can get them here: (I think they only have a IG account: glamofsweden

Trind Cuticle Conditioner:
What glossybox says about it:
Water-based conditioner that restores and prevents dry and cracked cuticles.
The moisturising ingredients also improves nail growth. Apply on cuticles and allow the product to sink in, massage in the remains.

What I think:
I do like that we get nail products as well!
But, the next thing is basically the same thing as this.
And I prefer the next thing.
So, I think glossybox could have just included one of these products...

Full size 129 kr/ 10.50 £/ 15 $.
You can get it here: www.trind.com/se/products/trind-cuticle-balsam

L.Y.X. Cosmetics Nail Drops:
What glossybox says about it:
A nail oil with a unique blend of natural oils that strengthen soft nails, and increases the flexibility of hard and brittle nails. Massage in daily for healthy beautiful nails and cuticles.
What I think about it:
This is probably my favourite thing in the box.
It's natural and it also smells good!

Full size (8 ml) 99 kr/ 8 £/ 12 $.
You can get it here:
lyxcosmetics.com/lyx-one-step/

Benton Cosmetics Snail Bee High Content Mask:
What glossybox says about it:
Nourishing fiber mask with highly concentrated essence based on botanical ingredients. It suits all skin types and provides a moisturizing, lifting and soothing effect on the skin. Place over your face and leave for 20-30 minutes.
What I think about it:
No...
Ok, yes it's natural and good which is always good, but it's contains bee venom and snail "slime"...
And this was the first thing I saw when I opened the box, and I was not excited.
Nope!

16 kr/ 1.30 £/ 2 $ for one pack
You can get it here: www.amazon.com/Benton

So...
I am not impressed about the mask, and I basically got two of the same kind of products, but from different brands. I just think this box could have been much better!

REVIEW: April Glossybox 2016 "Face On"!

HI!
Of course I am doing a review for last month's glossybox, so I hope you enjoy!
For more information about the actual products, go click here to see my "unboxing" of the April box, and all the links to where you can get the products are at the end of this post!

Benefit Dew The Hoola:
I will be doing a "buy and bye" on this product, (don't know if it's up when you see this), so the review will be on that post.
If you are interested, keep your eyes peeled!
(Not full size).

Full size 310 kr/ 25 £/ 37 $ for 30 ml.

Blowpro Heat Is On- Protective Daily Primer:
This is a heat protection spray, which is actually made for blow- drying, but will probably work for e.g a curling iron.
And I really like it!
It doesn't smell to much, it feels nice and minimizes the frizz you get from blow-drying.
Thumbs up!
(Not full size).

Full size 135 kr/ 11.50/ 16.50 for 250 ml.

Hey Honey Good Morning Honey Silk Facial Serum:
This is actually one of my favourite things from the April box, because it's such a nice and light-weight product that is moisturising and does the job.
It kind of smells of perfume, but in a good way.
(Not full size).

 Full size 340 kr/ 29 £/ 42 $ for 30 ml.

Unani Dermo Defense Face Mask:
This mask isn't for everyone, I must say.
It is a clear gel mask, which is kind of cooling and also moisturising.
Now, this feels more like a moisturising gel than a mask, and it claims to help the skin after using 1-2 times a week.
It doesn't really feel like anything has happened to your skin after using it (only more moisturised), but it doesn't need to feel like anything has happened to your skin, because it is natural and can actually be helping the skin in a way not other masks do.
Also, imagine this after a long day in the sun!
It kind of feels nice and cooling, and would probably feel amazing!
(Full size).

Full size 160 kr/ 14 £/ 20$ for 100 ml.

Beauty Formulas Australian Tea Tree Spot & Blemish Patches:
Hehe...
Haven't tried these yet..
But I will eventually.
(Original product).

36 patches for 39 kr/ 3.30 £/ 4.80 $.

Viva La Diva Lipsticks!

Hello!
Now I am here with a new post about two products from Viva La Diva.
This is not a review, it's just a post about them, like swatches and my thoughts about them so far! (Not sponsored!).

Viva La Diva is a cruelty-free, Swedish "drugstore" brand, that make lip, eye and base products.
I have a bunch of stuff from them, but I thought I would make a post about their lipsticks today.
Link to their website: vivaladiva.se
(Not sponsored!)

In the shade 56 Love Affair.
Moisturising Vitamin E Lipsticks:
What it is:
The success of Viva la Divas lipsticks continues. All our lipsticks contains moisturising vitamin E, which means you’ll never get that dry feeling on your lips. Choose from creamy, matte, full-covering, a more thin cover or pearl/shimmer.

What I think:
I really love how moisturising these are!
Now, I haven't really tried them that much, but from when I have swatched them and tried them, I notice that they are really creamy and moisturising.
I also noticed that the red lipstick (56 Love Affair) smudged out much easier and got kind of messy.
But I did like who shiny and pigmented it was!

Swatch of the shade 56 Love Affair.
You can get the shade 56 Love Affair here:
www.bubblebox.se

In the shade 97 Euphoria.
This is my favourite one!
It doesn't smudge out that easily, and it is more matte than the other one.
Also, it is a really different lavender/lilac purple shade that can be quite hard to find, especially one that is actually good. This is affordable, pigmented and moisturising!
Since it is becoming quite trendy with shades like this, I think this is great.
It is quite a "wearable" purple, if you compare it with other like neon purple lipsticks!

Swatch of the shade 97 Euphoria.
You can get the shade 97 Euphoria here:
www.bubblebox.se

Also, these lipsticks smell kind of like cherries, quite sweet, but I think that the scent disappears after you have had on your lips quite a while.
